On Monday’s (Feb. 24) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show recapping and answering questions about last week’s EDS interview with Birdman. Next, the EDS crew goes through updates on Pop Smoke’s cause of death, while commenting on Pusha T’s decision to take down his new song with Jadakiss off streaming services due to the content reflecting hypothetical ideas of ‘killing rappers.’ Soon after, the EDS trio shares their thoughts on Eminem’s interview with Crooked I, where he states that he’s a ‘guest in hip-hop’ and says he never claimed to be King of hip-hop. Later in the show, the crew use their ‘Hit, Brick or Wait on It’ segment to determine the fate of some recently released songs, such as ‘Yes’ by Kyle ft. Rich The Kid & K Camp, ‘The Way’ by Trippie Redd ft. Russ, ‘Givenchy Kickin’ by Calboy, Lil Baby & Lil Tjay, ‘Shooter’ by G Herbo ft. Jaquees and ‘Young World’ by Royce Da 5’9", Vince Staples & G Perico. Afterwards, the EDS trio kicks off their ‘Quick Hits’ segment by reacting to the news of Paul Rosenberg stepping down as Def Jam CEO and share their expectations on Drake’s upcoming album.
