KSRTC Bus Tragedy: Survivors Respond To Mathrubhumi News From Avinashi| Mathrubhumi News Avinashi: The passengers who survived the KSRTC bus crash which took place at Tamil Nadu's Tiruppur responded to Mathrubhumi News from a hospital in Avinashi, where they are under treatment. The KSRTC 'Garuda King Class' volvo bus from Bengaluru to Ernakulam collided with a Kerala registration container truck at Avinashi at 3 am this morning. 19 passengers were killed in the fatal crash, caused by the truck which hit the bus after breaking one-way traffic.
