A huge thank you to my friends at Freethink ( for putting together this video on one of my core skills, sketching. I say skill intentionally. It isn't a talent anymore than learning to speak French is a talent. It is a skill that is cultivated overtime through discipline and practice. Sketching is a way of thinking and a way of communicating. It is a way to transfer an idea from one mind to another, and that is why I love it so much. When I was 13 I said I want to draw stuff from the future, 30 years later that is still the best description for what I do.
