How To Stop Overthinking Everything [OMG It's So Simple] HOW TO STOP OVERTHINKING EVERYTHING [OMG IT’S SO SIMPLE]// In this video, I share with you how to stop overthinking everything, train your brain to cope with anxiety and how to control anxiety disorder.

A lot to get to, so let’s dive right in!

Hey Troy Blankenship here, also known on social media as the purple hypnotist. Today I wanted to hop on and share a super simple yet effective way on how to stop overthinking.

Now, before I get started, I’m asking for your help to share this video with anyone who you think might benefit. The tribe we are building here is so important and helping as many people as we can, overcome anxiety and stress, is our number one goal.

So again, feel free to share this video with anyone who you think it can help.

So, let me ask you this.

How do you stop overthinking everything you do?

And who is the person that you blame the most when it comes to not managing your anxiety in the best possible way?

That would be you.

And likewise, you need to take responsibility in finding a new way to become successful and how to think about negative thoughts in a better light.

First, instead of blaming yourself, I want you to show some understanding.

Second, don’t adopt the mindset that you’re going to just get over it and move on. Taking this approach can be too scary for many people and the disadvantage of tackling the entire problem puts so much pressure on your shoulders that you either don’t do it at all or do it and fail horribly.

This of course, sends a subtle but strong message to your mind that your anxiety is just too large for you to manage on your own.

Now, I want you to break things down into the smallest possible step, even if these steps seem so unsatisfying or insignificant.

So, when you apply this strategy, you build your resilience and start moving in the right direction with momentum to overcome the apprehension and dread that cloud your mind.

So, let’s take, for example, someone who suffers from social anxiety.

Following the process above, stop overthinking everything you do before anything else.

It would be too much for them to just decide to enter a crowded coffee shop in town. If they did this without taking the proper steps beforehand, the consequences could be devastating for their confidence in finding relief with anxiety.

Instead, let’s say this person breaks things down into very small steps.

First, they decide standing at the front door of their house with the door closed is a good manageable step. After doing this a few times with increasing time every time they practice, they open their front door and just look outside.

Next, they decide to stand outside with their front door open and just observe the passing cars and people. The next step could be sitting down on the front step of their home.

And this process continues with each successive step until they are able to walk into the café in town and feel confident in doing so.

Remember, when you take small, measurable steps, even if these steps seem silly or small in any way, you’re creating momentum and confidence and becoming resilient against anxiety.

And this is how to stop anxiety and overthinking.

Notice that with each time this person feels trapped with anxious thoughts, they still achieve that little step, no matter how slight it may seem to them.

Now, this demonstration of strength and confidence in showing themselves that they can do this, is a signal of understanding that they can proceed to the next step.

Of course, like I said, this is all about the direction of movement and building momentum in small, manageable steps.

Taking large steps that seem uncomfortable, or taking on too much all at once, create behaviors of safety within us that takes us backwards and reduces our quality of life and our life experiences.

Taking measurable steps forward is all about expanding and moving forward with choosing the path we want to take and is how to stop overthinking and worrying all the time.

And that, my friends, is a much better way of working towards overcoming anxiety.

Remember, take small steps, create momentum, build your resilience towards anxiety and showing yourself compassion along the way is an amazing recipe for success and that’s how to stop overthinking everything right now.

As always, thank you for watching. Be sure to drop me a comment below as I would love to hear how taking small steps for you has helped you manage stress and anxiety in your life.
