Yael is currently in year 12 studying History, Politics and Drama A Level, however, her journey to get here wasn't the easiest. Dropping out of mainstream education where she was always in trouble and seen to be oppositional and aggressive, she tried home-schooling for a bit before finally finding a small therapeutic school where her wellbeing was the priority. She started to thrive and has now joined sixth form at the King Alfred School. In her talk, Yael shares her story, explores the positive and negatives of her labels, and looks at the effect that her diagnoses had on her education.
