In this feature we bring you insights into Eskom's Enterprise Development by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who spent about 28 years in this ailing State Owned Enterprise (SOE). We unpack with Mr. Monkwe Mpye, a retired Senior Manager: Supplier Development & Localisation, some of the successes and challenges that he had to deal with during his tenure at Eskom. He is a seasoned Expert and his influence to direct and lead teams resulted in some achievements that followed him. He also provided perspectives on policy and alluded to "the big elephant" in the room - FUNDING.
