Last year, the Duggar brothers went to the Bahamas following destruction from a hurricane. Bringing Up Bates star Lawson Bates also joined the Duggars in Nashville. He posted: “This is the worst devastation I’ve ever seen in my home State of Tennessee, but I’ve also seen some of the greatest outpourings of support, love, and energy from so so many who care enough to pitch in and do whatever it takes to get the ones who’ve lost everything back in their feet!” He said he's with a team of six alongside hundreds of other volunteers for search and rescue work, cleanup and recovery efforts. The tornado hit Nashville and the surrounding area on March 3. Dozens of people were killed and countless homes and other buildings were lost. Pop star Taylor Swift has also lent a hand to the relief efforts, donating $1 million to the cause. She shared the link to Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund in her Instagram stories writing: “Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me."
